Privacy Policy
Overview
Wivoly processes account data and your creative briefs to generate videos.
Data you provide
Email, display name, project settings, scripts, prompts, and uploaded assets.
Account
Firebase Authentication stores email and user id. Firestore stores profile, plan, and usage counters.
AI processing
Prompts, scripts, and voiceover text are sent to OpenAI for research, scripting, TTS, timestamps, and codegen. We do not use your content to train public models unless a vendor contract explicitly says otherwise. Retention: run artifacts on our servers until you delete them or delete your account.
Payments
Email is shared with Paddle for checkout. See Paddle Privacy.
Cookies and local storage
Wivoly uses small pieces of data in your browser to keep you signed in and understand how the product is used.
- Strictly necessary: session/auth tokens and basic preferences (e.g. theme) are stored so the Studio and dashboard work. These are always on and cannot be disabled.
- Analytics (Google Analytics 4, Consent Mode v2): if you are in the EEA, the UK, or Switzerland, analytics cookies are off by default and only start after you accept them in the cookie banner or the preferences panel (reopen anytime via the shield icon in the corner). Outside those regions, analytics runs by default and you're simply notified that cookies are in use; you can still opt out from the same preferences panel.
- No advertising or marketing cookies are set by wivoly.com itself.
Analytics
Where enabled, analytics are aggregate (page views, feature usage) rather than tracking you individually, and are not sold to third parties.
Your rights
Access, correction, erasure, portability. Delete your account in dashboard settings or via DELETE /api/account. If you are in the EEA, UK, or Switzerland, these rights are guaranteed under GDPR / UK-GDPR.
Children
Not for users under the age of majority.
